Many of you may not be aware, but one of the services that our company offers is helping couples plan and coordinate their transportation itinerary for their special day. We also expand our services into helping brides and grooms with many other aspects of their wedding day from covering the small details with full coordination services to helping maintain the flow of things with day-of coordination. With all of the bridal shows that are coming up I wanted to take a moment to discuss four reasons why you should attend a bridal show.
Getting engaged is so exciting, but as the excitement of an engagement begins to fade away future brides are often struck by an overwhelming sense of panic. "I need to plan my wedding!" Suddenly a mountain of decisions and priorities is looming in front of them. They begin questioning who to call first and what to do next. But, if they step back they can easily realize that this is the fun part!
Wedding planning is more accessible than ever thanks to technology. There are tons of wedding resources such as bridal blogs, wedding websites, and social media. However, I believe that face-to-face interactions have something a little more special to offer. If a bride is looking for a personal connection and wants to be more efficient with their wedding planning efforts they should definitely attend a bridal show. Here are four reasons why I believe it is such a great idea to attend a show.
1. Convenience
Bridal shows are of one of the most convenient ways to learn about wedding vendors from a variety of categories. Brides can secure a venue, taste delicious cakes, see their dream gown walk down the runway, and even smell the roses, all in the same day at the same location. For couples that are looking to make decisions in a time-efficient manner attending a local show is a must. Wedding planning is a process and if you're on a limited timeline or budget, then booking things quickly is necessary. A bridal show is a great way to do all of that.
2. Make a Personal Connection
When it comes to choosing the perfect wedding vendors, you want to make sure you not only like their work, but that you enjoy working with the people themselves. You will be meeting with, planning, making important decisions, and inevitably spending money on them for an extended period of time so making a personal connection is often times what sets one vendor a part from the other. Personality matters and you want someone that understands your vision and is fun to work with along the way. Bridal shows make it accessible to not only see a variety of work, but meet and network with a variety of people.

Bridal shows are a great opportunity to take advantage of special deals and discounts that vendors may be offering. Prior to heading to the show, it is a good idea to do some research on vendors you know will be attending, especially if they are someone you had been interested in booking anyway. Bridal shows bring together "the best of the best" from a variety of wedding related
categories. The best vendors are always up-to-date with wedding industry trends and can offer some valuable insight into what's going to work best for you and the vision you of your special day. Many times bridal shows have a fashion show where they will showcase all of the trending bridal fashions as well as other wedding attire including tuxes, bridesmaids gowns, and reception dresses.
