SPRING into these Wedding Ideas

Updated: May 10, 2019

Spring brings about flowers in bloom, the sun shining and the brisk winds of winter giving way to warm weather and longer days. This is a beautiful time of the year to tie the knot.

If you are planning a Spring wedding or celebration you may be searching out ways to highlight this gorgeous season in your planning. I have done some research and compiled a list of Spring wedding ideas to get you "Springing" into action!!!

Be Bright and Beautiful

Spring brides will be spoiled with their choices when it comes to choosing their wedding bouquet as there are countless varieties of flowers available in every color under the sun.

Floral Inspired Wedding Gown

Floral decor may seem a bit predictable, but stepping out in a floral inspired wedding gown will definitely catch the eyes of your guests and leave you looking resplendent. This Claire Pettibone bridal collection took my breath away. This classic, stunning Bijoux wedding gown from the Couture Gilded Age Collection is covered in crystal beads and pearls accenting a graceful floral embroidery. The modest neckline manages to be both graceful and alluring, while the gorgeous surprise of the beaded embellished open keyhole back adds to the wedding WOW factor!

Flower Crowns, Not Just For Hippy Chicks

Flowers are a plenty during Spring time and it would make sense to put them to good use. Why not have your florist create a flower crown that coordinates with your bridal bouquet?

Groomsmen in Color

With all of the surrounding bright colors of Spring, your color options will not be limited. Include your groomsmen in the soiree of colors with vibrant patterned pocket squares, bright colored ties, and suits in bold shades of blue. Your groomsmen will certainly be looking dapper. Another choice for more rustic themed weddings is to outfit the groomsmen in country checks and tweed which will coordinate smoothly with countryside wedding venues.

Spring Showers

It is said that rain on a wedding day is actually a sign of good luck, but that doesn't mean you should be unprepared. Have a bridal cover up on stand by just in case the weather turns a bit nippy or issue your bridesmaids and groomsmen with adorable umbrellas that harmonize well with your wedding theme or colors.

Choose a Spring Inspired Wedding Cake

Wedding guests not only look forward to tasting the wedding cake, but the look of the wedding cake can help pull together your entire wedding theme and color scheme.

Simple, yet Stunning Centrepieces

If your goal is for clean, minimalistic decor. Add subtle seasonal hints to your tables by creating simple arrangements of gypsohila, tulips, or daffodils in jars and vases that have a rustic appearance to them. You can also choose to coordinate your centerpieces with your colorful spring bouquet.

Get Creative With The Table Plan

Creatively displaying your table plan in an unusual way such as wrapping your plan in a gorgeous frame of seasonal wedding flowers could be an amazing way to display your Spring style.
